Google Sending New Wave of Mobile-First Indexing Enabled Notifications

If you have a large number of sites in your Google Search Console, chances are good you have received one (or twenty) emails from Google alerting that sites have been switched over to mobile first indexing in the search results.

The new notices are identical (aside from a non-relevant footer change) to the ones Google began sending out to site owners in April.  It covers why Google is swapping and what it means for site owners both in the Google search results as well as with traffic.

This round still seems to be focusing on sites that are serving identical content to both mobile and desktop users.  Google has said they want to only swap over sites that are ready, and this new round of notices seems to reflect that.
